First aid course for parents at our children's clinic - be prepared to help your child
We invite you to a practical first aid course focused on acute conditions in children, which we organize directly at our clinic. The course is intended for parents, grandparents and anyone who wants to know how to save a child's life in a critical moment.
We will focus on specific situations that you may encounter at home, on the playground, and on vacation:
– respiratory and circulatory arrest (CPR)
– bleeding and head injury from a fall
– burns and scalds
– acute fevers and febrile convulsions
– choking by a foreign body
– intoxication (drugs, chemicals, mushrooms, etc.)
The course is interactive - you will try cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on a child mannequin, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and practical handling of individual situations.
The training is conducted by doctors from our experienced team, in Czech or English.
